Subject: A Girl In Every Port!

Today's "Picture of the Day" is from 90 years ago (1917) of the USS O-2 SS-63 under construction at the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard here in the great northwest. 
 
The song to go with this is a real keeper entitled "The Sailor With The Navy Blue Eyes".  You owe it to yourself to get through the song's musical intro and then listen to the words - talk about a match to most sub sailors - they must have known us well back in the early days when this song was obviously written - enjoy!

I would say that it had to be Drydock #1 (the smallest).  Number 2 was completed in 1912 and would have been used for larger vessels especially as the photo of O-2 was from the WWI era...
