Well the Naval Undersea Museum here in Keyport, WA just shipped the last of the pristine Mk14 torpedos found in bunkers at Hawthorne, NV a couple years back.  This final torpedo left last week for Austrailia!

Soooo, did you know that NUM has so much "stuff" that even their vast indoor storage facility can't hold it all?  Case in point, this boomer anchor ("Picture of the Day" outside & behind the facility with weeds growing over it.

If you have any military related, non-profit "good cause", if you can fill out necessary paperwork and pay for trucking, items like this are available for the asking.  More details? email!

Song to go with this anchor picture? "Unchained Melody" (of course)... enjoy!

No disrespect intended...but I could use that on my front lawn... by my mailbox...especially in the winter...when it snows...maybe the guys who drive the plows would get the message if they saw that thing sitting there...it would definitely do some damage!!!
