He will be missed.
I loved the words and turn of phrase he use. Pure poetry. Who else would have you thinking about "coffee colored Cadillacs" and such. About yelling "like a southern diplomat".

Hope I can last as long as you.
Loved "Roll over Beethoven" far better than Johnny be Good.

I will also miss his unique guitar playing style. Nobody ever duplicated his method on the strings. Heard part of a marathon last night while driving home.

They still let you drive? He had a full life, and brought pleasure to the uneducated masses. At least according to the Classical purists.

Of course they let me drive. Someone needs to be behind the wheel of my 2011 Charger R/T. Down here in SE Florida one needs both cat like reflexes as well as the HP to avoid way too many issues. So, if you see one with the plate that reads SSBN599 (Delaware) that'd be me.

I can remember the bumper stickers around New Port Richie. "Pray for me, I drive on 19" Due to all the retired Yankees that lived in the area and their driving habits.

When I worked in St Louis in the 80's & early 90's Chuck Berry would always perform on the plaza outside Busch Stadium on opening day of the baseball season. His entire outfit was "Cardinal Red" including his fedora, shoes and even his guitar. He always put on a great show and was very approachable after he was done playing.
