A native of Fall River, MA, he was a retired Senior Chief with US Navy, serving in the submarine service. He was a 4th Degree Knights of Columbus, Council #367. Mr. Fitzgibbons is survived by his parents Barry and Mary Ellen Fitzgibbons; brothers Sean and Scott Fitzgibbons; sisters Sheila Fitzgibbons and Lizbeth Serpa; his fiancé Deonna Gardea; and children Michael, Lillianne, and Natalie Gardea, and Mariah Huffman. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church Wednesday, April 19, at 12:00 P.M. The family will receive friends at the church from 11 until service time. H.D.
