The location of the Detwiler fire is about 30 miles north of Raymond, CA,( the location of Cowboy's ranch.) It's between Lake McClure and Yosemite N.P. Cowboy's ranch is way south of Yosemite. A few years ago, I drove a helicopter service truck on the Buck Meadows fire, just north of the Detwiler fire. It also threatened Yosemite. So Cowboy's ranch is safe from this fire, but who knows what will happen next week. Jon P.S: Sue and I e-mail often. She's well aware of the fire situation.
