| Plankowner Posts: 5024 Location: Gulfport, MS | Subject: Tuesday Obit YANT, Charles E., passed at Good Samaritan Hospital of Puyallup, Washington on July 14, 2017. Charles battled his illness for several years and succumbed resting peacefully. Born June 17, 1941 in Lima Ohio, to mother Amy E. Ross (Yant) and father Ottie C. Yant, both have preceded Charles in death. Charles is survived by his sisters, Jan Doan of Dysull, Ohio, Teresa E. Dodridge, and Charlotte A. Davis. Charles joined the United States Navy, Submarine Service right out of high school and made a career of the silent service. After retirement Charles continued his world travels as an international courier. An avid student of history and politics Charles was a wealth of knowledge to all. Charles will long be remembered as a dedicated citizen of America and Sailor - All Gave Some, Some Gave All.
