Finger Pointing about ARA San Juan |

COMSUBBBS Posts: 2974 Location: Liverpool, England | Subject: Finger Pointing about ARA San Juan It didn't take long for an Argentinean source to somehow try laying the blame for the loss of ARA San Juan at our doorstep by suggesting our involvement in this tragic episode. It also describes that a Chilean surface warship was tracking their boat. Why wait until now to make these revelations public? The mobile phone story sounds unlikely to me. They would have had to be close inshore and on the surface to use any phone masts on the Argentina mainland to send an unauthorised message about operations to a relative. The claims have been officially denied by the MoD. https://ukdefencejournal.org.uk/argentine-sub-chased-british-helicopter-says-family-member-despite-britain-not-anti-submarine-helicopters-area/ Pedro | ||
