How foes a carrier back feed at 440 volts to multiple substations to power a metropolis? Hhmmm Ric should remember this happening. Any power plant operators care to educate me. | ||

The USS Indianapolis (SSN 697) was sent to Kauai late Nov 1983 to jump start the only power plant there when it was knocked off line in hurricane Iwa. It was not used because the length of cables (miles) were prohibitive. | ||
