Late member IBEW Local 103, Veteran U.S. Navy, WWII submarine service. Father of William G. (Adele) Jr., Bridgewater; Janice M. (William) Holland, Shrewsbury; Donna M. and Karen M. (Robert) Boudreau, Lexington. grandfather of seven; great-grandfather of nine. Son of the late Harold E. and Margaret (Byrne) Hooper. Brother of Jean Krapohl of Bellingham and the late Harold, Margaret Hurley, Robert, Donald, Claire Richmond, and Eleanor Brennan. Funeral from the Douglass Funeral Home, 51 Worthen Rd. Lexington Saturday January 20 at 9am followed by a Mass of Christian burial at St. Brigid Church, 2001 Mass Ave. Lexington at 10am.
