Joe Brown is probably unheard of in the US, but in the glory days of rock 'n' roll Joe was the talented guitarist that played with almost every top US star when they toured the UK. He was from the East End of London with that cheeky Cockney personality that so endeared him to people. The greatest fans of his talent were Eddie Cochran, George Harrison, Duane Eddie and Chet Atkins, all fantastic guitar players in their own right. He is still active in music, but I saw one of his last live shows in Liverpool in 2011 and he was still giving an outstanding performance. Try him out with these clips.

He's pretty dang good.
So is the drummer. He did a great version of the old Jimmy Rodgers yodel, "In The Jail House Now" recorded February 15, 1928.
I can see why the other guys like his playing.

As a holder of a highly prejudiced opinion of how great Chet Adkins playing is, I have to say he is good.
