Plankowner Posts: 9165 Location: Upper lefthand corner of the map. | Subject: Update #28 In 1931 Francis Crestensen purchased the ex-USS S-49 and for almost ten years traveled around the US and Canadian seaboard exhibiting the submarine and even all the way to Chicago for the Worlds Fair. The Navy finally reclaimed the submarine for testing during WW II and she sank in an accident in the Patuxent River. Two photos.  http://pigboats.com/ Enjoy!! | ||
