Can anyone lead me to drawings for the Fuel Oil System on a Tench class boat. I know I had drawings at one time but cannot locate them now...

Can't really but do remember the proper name: Fuel Filling and Transfer and Compensating Water. "FFT&CW.
Do the names Normal FO tanks, (NFOs), Fuel Ballast Tanks (FBTs) and Expansion tank ring a bell. Just show them, add a hull stop on each and the line to expansion through the sight glass, install a levelometer on expansion set to read on water, add a line to the purifiers and from there to the Clean Fuel Oil tanks (CFOs) and you got it. Engine's attached and detached pumps took suction from CFO to the fuel manifold on the engines.
A little rusty I'm sure but we are going back 55 years. I also had the illustrious job of Fuel Oil and water king not to mention Engineering Spare parts PO.Kept these little collateral jobs until I made first class then I was 'awarded' the Aux gang and Section PO.

I sitting here looking at the one I drew in my "little green book" when I was awarded the un solicited job of fuel king on Trutta (SS-421) in 1957. Sorry I'm not smart enough to get from the book onto the BB.

Funny how things seem to happen all at once.
I have an old Qual notebook from the 1920's. Lots of systems drawings of systems aboard the USS O-1.
Been working on getting some of them online. The one I'm working on is the Fuel and Lube Oil Compensating water systems.
Then the other night I happened to watch this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cir6IoAMpRE&t=1737s
taht had a whole section in the Fuel and Compensating water system.
Now Joe pops up wanting to know about it.
Life is funny.
