This movie is probably the best I have seen about the Special Air Service. It cuts through the widely held BS opinions ( mainly of civilians) that they are a bunch of professional assassins and thugs. They are strictly governed by British Army Regulations and civil law like any other UK serviceman despite their clandestine and secret operations on the nation's behalf. It explains the demands of their job throughout their careers and what happens to them after they complete military service and are no longer members of the SAS. Just happy that they are on our side in today's screwed-up world.

The royal British Jungle Warfare School in Malaysia was run by the New Zealand SAS. In the sixties, they may or may not have trained the first US Army Combat Trackers and supplied them with a trained team member with a wagging tail. The top graduate in each class may or may not have been awarded a New Zealand S.A.S. Plaque. Fine group of men, and the Nepalese were outstanding. With one heck of a sense of humor. They may have trained the men right, as they had a very high survival rate. even with the Army using them as professional Point Pounders occasionally.
