After walking out of an abusive marriage to Ike Turner with only a few cents in her pocket Tina had to rebuild her life and career in her mid-forties to survive. She took life by the scruff of the neck and forged a glittering career in show business selling millions of records worldwide and gaining numerous awards along the way. A courageous lady who deserved better and finally got it with her sheer talent and dynamic energy onstage. Tina left a huge imprint on Australia with her frequent visits there. She recorded “Simply the Best” with Jimmy Barnes an Australian icon with strong Scottish roots who specializes in blues singing. Here is an overview of it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=23_6xMhuLBs&list=RD23_6xMhuLBs&start_radio=1 Pedro | ||
