Each has only a single stripe on their cuffs. Seaman 2nd would have two stripes and Seaman 1st had three stripes. Shoulder stripe in white meant they were deck div. If they had a red stripe around the left shoulder they'd be Firemen and Black Gang. The guy half seen on the right has three stripes.
