Facebook page where their members who have gone on “Eternal Patrol” are noted. I’ll keep my work here going, trying to get others who were not USSVI members. You’re encouraged to look there as well as here! Obviously, there’ll be some I miss and some I duplicate. NORRIS .. .. .. Steve Norris, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and man of faith, passed away surrounded by the love of his family on March 17th, 2026 in Fort Myers, FL. He lived a life marked by service, to his country, to his community, and to his Lord. Steve proudly served seven years in the United States Navy submarine service, demonstrating courage, discipline, and dedication while serving beneath the sea. Later in life, Steve continued a life devoted to helping others. For 28 years he faithfully served in Kairos Prison Ministry, sharing hope, encouragement, and compassion with incarcerated men. His commitment to this ministry reflected his deep faith and his belief that every person deserves grace, dignity, and a second chance. Above all else, Steve loved his family. He is survived by his wife, Judy Norris, his children Nicole Norris, Greg Norris (Ginger), and Amanda Murphy (Christian), and his grandchildren Sarah Krasnoff (Tyler), Madison Norris, and Lia Murphy. Steve will be remembered for his gentle, servant’s heart, his steady and comforting presence, and the love he gave so freely and wholeheartedly to everyone around him. He had a quiet way of making people feel seen, valued, and cared for. His life touched so many in deeply personal ways, and the faith and kindness he lived out each day will continue to shine through all who were blessed to know and love him. LAWSON .. .. ..
