Our shipmate Dave Goodson passed to Eternal Patrol May 11^th, 2026, after a long-fought battle with cancer.

He had been placed on hospice very recently.

We will let you know about services in early fall, he had wished to have a burial at sea and there may be a ceremony at that time.

I personally knew Dave because we both volunteered as workers and docents on the old Russian boat that was here on the Seattle waterfront years ago (gone now).  He could do just about anything mechanical or electrical.  He had a big voice and never hesitated to "share" his opinion on matters .  

Ric Hedman and many others were friends with Dave as well.  Dave was one of a kind and will be missed by many!
