Skippy Peanut Butter has modified the jar by making a dome in the bottom of the jar. The jar looks the same from the front and you think your getting the same amount of peanut butter but you're getting 10% less for the same price you payed for the old jar . Kellogg has made the cereal box thinner, front to back, so your getting less of the cereal for the same price.

"Food to Feed" was bad enough...

But then, we got "Food to Fuel." Corn-Based Ethanol makes ZERO sense...

The Ethanol star is beginning to fade. In recent weeks we've seen some large players in the corn to Ethanol business declare bankruptcy. They hedged on the price of corn and lost. It should have come as no surprise.

A company has been wanting to put an ethanol plant in a small town in our county here in Virginia. There was so much opposition to it that it was put on back burner by the proposing company. Now it looks like it may not go at all. Better to find out now than later. If Oboma is smart he will not put ethanol on his alternative energy plans at all. I am all for alternative energy sourses, but not if it costs more to produce (either directly or indirectly) than fossil fuel.
