This was in with some of the items I was given. It originally came off the Aspro SS 309. For those who never seen one, it is called a ISWAS it predated the TDC but was carried as a back up. | ||

The theory being, if you know where you is and know where you was, then you will know where you are going to be. | ||

Great Sage of the Sea Posts: 781 Location: Port Orchard WA | Subject: RE: I was just given this tonight It is to bad the Dick Breckenridge passed away he was on the 309 and got Navy Cross in WWII and I am sure he had that in his hands more than once I would hope that before you donate to a museum piece you will take a ton of pictures because the 648 ASPRO will be inviting what we can locate of 309 crew to our reunions last time I check we only had 10 of the WWII crew still alive.
