His remains were found on a dive which turned up a shoe, part of a stocking and a bone at the wreck site. He was a cabin boy. Pass the rum and watch your wallet when I'm around!!!!

I found it to be one of those "all-nighters" that I had trouble putting down... "The Black Ship, the Quest to Recover an English Pirate Ship and its Lost Treasure", Barry Clifford with Paul Perry Original publisher was Headline Book Publishing, published in the states by Cliff Street Books (Harper Collins)

Master and Commander Posts: 1431 | Subject: RE: Yo-Ho-Ho and a bottle of milk As I understand the story, he was taken as a captive by the pirates from another ship but he wanted to join the band and was taken in as one of the crew (cabin boy). They only lasted about a year before the Whydah was lost in a big storm of the American coast though...... did I spell the Whydah right
