Master and Commander Posts: 1431 | Subject: Why did they callthem Mullberries? During the invasion of Normandy, floating docks called Mulberries ( Suggested by Churchill) were brought accross the English Channel. Why did they name them after a bush. Inquiring minds want to know.....again! | ||
