Mary Tudor- Queen Mary 1 & 2

* I know the question asks for "him", however, by beginning with "What person" I feel my answer reflects a more proper degree of correctiveness.

Margaret is a popular person.....

# USS Margaret (SP-328)
# USS Margaret (SP-524)
# USS Margaret (SP-527)
# USS Margaret (SP-531)
# USS Margaret (SP-2510)
# USS Margaret and Jessie (1863)
# USS Margaret and Rebecca (1864)

actually, as you didn't mention which nation either, the list could be very extensive.....

The following were/are to be named after Queen Elizabeth I of England - HMS Queen Elizabeth a Dreadnought Battleship launched 1915 and will be the name of the Aircraft Carrier which is due to enter service in 2014.

I am sure the POM's have many many examples of naming ships after royalty.

USS Andrew Jackson (1832), a revenue cutter that served through the end of the American Civil War.
USS Andrew Jackson (SSBN-619), a submarine commissioned on 3 July 1963.

The first USS Ethan Allen was a bark that raided the Confederate States of America during the American Civil War.
The second USS Ethan Allen was the lead ship of her class of ballistic missile submarine that served during the Cold War.

Not that it counts but,
SS Ethan Allen was a Liberty Ship laid down by Bath Iron Works January 7, 1942

Add two more for George Washington:
USS George Washington (1798), was purchased on 12 October 1798 and served for less than four years. She was sold in May 1802.
USS George Washington (ID-3018), was a German ocean liner, launched in 1908. She was taken over and converted into a transport by the US Navy during World War I. She was sold for scrap in 1951.
