Met a lot of really interesting guys, especially some Tuskegee Airmen. I had heard about these guys but had never met any of them. What a group; outstanding individuals and loads of fun to be around. Now I've got some history to study.

They trained and were based out of Walterboro, SC for a larger part of WWII. They also had a Reunion a few years ago during one of our Sennet Reunions in the same hotel. We also had a Reunion in the same hotel with the Flying Tigers. Both were/are great people.

Unfortunately he had already passed away or I would have tried to meet him. All remarkable people.
