Subject: First treatment is over...

and Mother came through it like a trooper.  No side effects of any kind, except extreme hunger (she didn't have breakfast, thinking she needed to fast)...and a bit chilled because the room was very cold.  Anyway, got her some soup, a warm blanket and she did great.  4 hrs., 15 min. session, but it seemed to go by very quickly.  The staff is wonderful and the Dr. stopped by to check on her, and was
pleased with the outcome for the first time.  So, all in all, it was a good day.  1 down, 3 to go!!!

When it comes right down to it, we can all do what we gotta do. Sometimes the dread of not knowing waht it will be like is worse than doing it!

Thank God she didn't have to have the Rituxan combined with chemotherapy. That would not be too easy.
