| Plankowner Posts: 5024 Location: Gulfport, MS | Subject: Obit Messenger results for 08/26/09. - (Dayton Daily News) CALDWELL, Jeffrey Neil, 51, passed away Monday, August 24, 2009. Jeff graduated from Fairmont West where he excelled at football, then attended Otterbein College. He joined the Navy in the Nuclear Submarine Program and was sent to Europe during the Cold War. He returned to Dayton and worked at Precision Tune Auto Care, which he later purchased. Jeff enjoyed boating, riding his Harley and spending time with the family. He was preceded in death by his father, Dr. Neil R. Caldwell. He is survived by his wife, Cortney Caldwell; mother, Virginia H. Caldwell; daughter, Michelle Caldwell; son, Matthew (Erin) Caldwell; grandchildren Autumn Caudill, Jacob Caudill & Jonah Neil Caldwell; sister, Ann Kiley; brother-in-law & sister-in-law, Lester & Kathy Wheelock; sister-in-law, Sandra Wheelock; niece, Kelly (Jason) Moore; nephew, Jerry (Lisa) Kiley; grandniece & grandnephew, Ashlyn & Tyler Moore. Funeral service will be at 7 pm Thursday, August 27, at Morris Sons Funeral Home, 1771 E. Dorothy Lane, Kettering. Rev. Robert Wade officiating. The family will receive friends 5-7 pm Thursday before the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Dayton Area Diabetes Association or the Precious Secrets Sheltie Rescue, 6690 Hamilton Rd, Middletown OH 45044.
