This issue has pictures from the Kirkland Independence Day Parade, the Seattle Base Tolling of the Boats ceremony, and the usual base news/events and submarine related articles. Since the "Yard period" she received this spring she's looking good. I put together a display of photos and was assisted by Base Commander Steve Shelton is figuring out a way to make them stay in place. There are (L to R) two photos of the USS E-1 taken just before her decommissioning, two photos of the USS Cat Fish taken of fwd and aft views while she's taking on fuel and two of the USS Nautilus (V-6). One is an original newspaper article about the boat and another is a launching photo. All pictures were made from the original photo negatives.
