Taken from the unauthorized journal of Bob Hunt who served on Tambor for the first 12 of her war patrols. A very fast read and exciting story of long patrols and short times on shore to blow off steam... Most of the book is put together from different sources but the main source is Bob Hunt who kept a journal and was a participant in the telling of these stories. It covers all of the war and it includes the 6 years of his service from a seaman to a CPO. I certainly recommend this book as an addition to your library. The name is We Were Pirates.
