Charles B. Peloubet, 87, of Long Pond, died Saturday, September 19, 2009 at Golden Living Center, East Stroudsburg. He was the husband of the late Elizabeth Medlon) Peloubet. Born in Orange, N.J., he was the son of the late William S. and Mary Lewis) Peloubet. He graduated from Orange High School. Before his retirement in 1985, he was a machinist for Dusenberry Inc., Passaic, N.J. He was a World War II Navy veteran who served on the submarine USS Snook (SS-279). He was a member of the Loaders, East Stroudsburg, a Senior Citizens Club, and he loved to hunt and fish. He is survived by two sons, Richard Peloubet of Safford, Ariz., and David J. Peloubet and his wife, Karen, of Long Pond; a daughter, Patricia Castleberry of Safford, Ariz.; a brother, Louis Peloubet of Brick, N.J.; five grandchildren, Michelle Hanson, Angela Peloubet, Meghan Peloubet, Victoria Peloubet and Katarina Peloubet; and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sons, Charles B. Peloubet and Robert William Peloubet, and a sister, Evelyn Dies. There will be a viewing from 2 to 4 and 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 24, at the Bolock Funeral Home, corner of routes 940 and 390, Paradise Valley. The Rev. Father Joseph Kopacz will conduct a Blessing Service at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 25, at the funeral home. Private cremation is entrusted to the Bolock Funeral Home Crematory.
