BruceSpringsteen.net offers downloads of Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band's The River Tour Concert for free. That's the best price we could find for this 33-track album. (For comparison, most tracks by The Boss run at least 99 cents on iTunes.) It includes tracks like "Born to Run", "Dancing in the Dark", "Take It Easy", and "Thunder Road". Deal ends January 26. |

Geez, when I run out of Jazz, Blues, R&B, and my daughter Lisa StAnn [look her up] on youtube maybe I'll get to it, but I doubt it.

Well, AtoZ may not appreciate it, but I do. I downloaded it and I'm enjoying it right now. Politics aside, the Boss is a tremendous artist and I regret not seeing him live. |

To impress a young lady, I overspent quite a bit by purchasing a leather jacket and two tickets to their Born in the U.S.A. Tour. That evening, November 19, 1984, the young lady insisted we wrestle our way closer to the stage, "to him" she cooed softly in my ear. Standing shoulder to shoulder and nuts to butts right under the stage with a huge circle of drunk and/or stoned partyers, we were rewarded when Bruce climbed atop a speaker stand and shook his head spraying many of us with his sweat on MY BRAND NEW EXPENSIVE LEATHER JACKET. I still own the jacket, haven't seen the gal in over 20 years. P.S. I miss youth.
