At random: Records for enemy shipping sunk by U.S. submarines during World War II are held by two boats built by Electric Boat. The USS FLASHER sank 100,231 tons of Japanese shipping, while the USS TAUTOG holds the record for the most ships - 26.

Hi fellas,

We just got back from a nice bike ride. Cora and I are going over her book project and trying to see if we can post a photo or two of our ride. Here goes...

I was kinda worried, since I deal with chronic back pain on a daily basis - but - it was a remarkably easy ride. The back rest on the bike felt good, and the chauffeur was an "easy rider." He promised another, longer ride in the future. Actually, we could have had the longer ride yesterday, but I wanted to spend some of the time visiting with him.

Don actually put these pics up on my computer, so even though it looks as though I put them up, not so.

I have waited for several years to meet the "webmaster," and he was every thing I expected. A very nice man. He only arrived in Sturgis Saturday afternoon, so he wasn't actually into the Rally yet. I believe that he plans to visit my brother's grave while he's here. I guess the National Cemetery is very close to the campground where he's staying.

What else can I say? We spent several wonderful hours together. I showed him what has happened so far with my writing project - the project that used to be both Elmer's and mine. Don's comments were inspiration to finish it.

What a wonderful day! The elan lingers on.

Smiley - That must be the reason - I forget now.

When I found the website that advertized all kinds of "Cora" products, I couldn't pass it up. I don't find my name very often, so . . .

Whatcha waiting for? My 80th birthday to give me a ride? Sheesh.

I am so glad you enjoyed your ride...although you were worried about your back...it's understandable. That's one good thing about
Harley's...they are great rides...but the "driver" does have a lot to do with it...and whether they have the experience in handling the
bike...and you got a good "driver".

Hey, it doesn't matter "who" put up the photos...but you just "know" that the "bearded wonder" had to get his mug up...trying to make
the "other two ugly ones" jealous!!!

Hi Ric and Dave...hehehe...smile guys ;>)!!!
