If this was a group of frat members at State U, it might be okay.

But, these are future US Naval Officers.

Maybe it explains why so many COs get dismissed these days.

Watched a bit and fast forwarded through to see if it ever got better. It didn't.

What is the average age of a middy? What is the average age of those who post here? What type of music do these kids listen to? What type of music do you listen to?
Good, bad or indifferent the video was for people of THEIR age not ours.

Wonderful, but whatever happened to the term Officer and a Gentleman in all public displays, and most of those private? Yes, there is one heck of a generation gap here, but there are also many years of tradition.

Where in the long traditions of our Navy does it say Middies/officers cannot have fun?

I do not have a problem with the music.

I have been to rap and hip hop Broadway Shows and they were all fantastic.

My grand-kids dance around singing hip hop and rap which I also find entertaining.

My problem is these are future officers in their uniforms; not street performers.

If they did this skit to the Beach Boys or the Four Seasons, I would still think it inappropriate.

I am surprised that they can appear in uniform like this; in many cities the police and fire fighters cannot do it.

Didn't have a problem with the video one way or the other, and don't care much for the music.  Too busy remembering the bad memories of trying to keep whites white.

Well, there was nothing done in the video, which was very well produced, that was disrespectful to the Navy, the uniform or the Naval Academy.

I stand corrected - this video was okay with the brass.
