LUCAS, John Patrick, Sr., passed away suddenly while on his daily walk on August 12, 2017. Jack was born April 28, 1944 in Boston, MA. As a young man he served in the United States Navy as a submarine sailor. He was married to and predeceased by Judith Charbonnier. While raising their family in Portland, CT, Jack worked and retired from Century Color Laboratories as the Plant Manager. Jack was an avid golfer and held multiple golf course Club Championships both in CT and FL. He was one of the biggest Boston Bruins hockey fans around, barely missing a game over many years. He was fun loving, happy, and truly enjoyed life. To enjoy his next chapter in life, Jack moved to The Villages in Florida, where he married Marcia Stiles. They enjoyed traveling, golf, spending time with family, and more golf. Jack leaves behind his son John "Luke" Lucas, Jr. and his wife Beth and their sons, John lll and Benjamin (Portland, CT), his daughter Jennifer Lucas-Mumma and her husband Kevin and their daughters Caitlyn and Madison (Bradenton, FL), Very Special Cousins Jule and Robbie Crawfod, his sisters Julie Brown and husband Jimmy (Malden, MA), Maria Toomey and husband Kevin (Derry, NH) with several nieces and nephews. In addition to his family of his first wife Judy, he leaves his wife Marcia Stiles and her children and grandchildren. A memorial service was held in The Villages, FL. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jack's memory may be made to the Connecticut Children's Medical Center Foundation and reference "Infusion Center", 282 Washington St. Hartford, CT 06106. STALLINGS. William Henry, was born on March 6, 1934 and passed away on Tuesday, August 22, 2017. William was a resident of Sandusky, Ohio at the time of passing. William graduated from Sandusky High School in 1953. He served in the Navy and was a submariner on the USS Stickleback that sank in a collision with the destroyer USS Silverstein on May 28 1958. Friends may call from 9 A.M. until time of funeral services at 10:15 A.M., Tuesday August 28 at the Ohio Veteran's Home Giffin Chapel, 3416 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky. Burial will follow in Oakland Cemetery. Visitation at the Ohio Veterans Home, Giffin Chapel from 9:00 AM to 10:15 AM on August 29, 2017.Donations can be made to the American Cancer Society or Cancer Services of Erie County, 505 E. Perkins Avenue, Sandusky, OH 44870.
