LANG, Harold Michael, 92 of Forest Lake, formerly of St. Paul went to be with the Lord on Sept. 15, 2017, while surrounded by his family. Preceded in death by wife, Dolores [1/8/2013]; son, Jeff; parents, Charles & Franceska Lang; stepmother, Elizabeth Lang; sister, Carolyn. Survived by children, Michael (Gayle) Lang, Barb (Bill) Reynolds, Jean (David) Swanson, Ken (Lori) Lang, Kurt (Jean) Lang, Lisa (Kerry) Johnson; daughter-in-law; Deb Lang; 11 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. Harold can be remembered for his service to our country as a WWII sub vet on the USS R-4 and USS Besugo, as a member of the Knights of Columbus, and the American Legion Post 225. He also served as State Commander of the MN Submarine Veterans. He worked in the printing trade for 47 years and was a life-long member of the Pressmen's Union. Visitation 4-8 PM Wed., Sept., 20th at Roberts Family Life Celebration Home, 555 SW Centennial Dr., Forest Lake. Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM Thurs., Sept., 21st, with visitation one hour prior at The Church of St. Peter, 1250 S. Shore Dr., Forest Lake. LUGI, Francis Eugene, Jr., 92, formerly of 16 Dennis Street, Clinton, died Saturday, September 16, 2017 in Palm Coast, Florida. His wife of 42 years, Linda I. [Saari] Lugi, died in 1996. He is survived by a daughter, Anne M. Fallon and her husband Thomas of Leominster; a son David F. Lugi and his wife Cheryl of Palm Coast, Florida, formerly of Clinton; a sister Diana Wilmot and her husband Earl of Lancaster, and her son Mark Kennedy of Leominster; three grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and his long-time companion, Grace Schaller of Palm Coast. He is predeceased by his good friend, Maggie Meehan. Frank was born in Worcester on July 3, 1925, and raised in Clinton, son of Frank E and Emma [Cicciotte] Lugi. He was a graduate of Clinton High School, Class of 1942. Frank served in WWII in the US Navy as a submariner [USS Salmon, USS Barb]. For 43 years Frank was employed by the former ITT Surprenant as a Special Projects Manager, retiring in 1985. He later fulfilled his life-long dream of retiring to Florida. He spent many wonderful years in Palm Coast, Florida. A member of St. John the Guardian of Our Lady Parish, Clinton and the Clinton Lodge of Elks, he was also a member of the Palm Coast VFW and a former member of the Knights of Columbus. Frank's funeral service and burial in St. John's Cemetery, Lancaster, are private. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
