CHAISSON, George Timothy, Jr., 75, of Nashua, died peacefully on October 18, 2017 at his home, with his family by his side. Mr. Chaisson was born in Framingham, MA on October 27, 1941, a son of the late George and Helen (Green) Chaisson Sr. Mr. Chaisson was a Technical Project Manager for BCGI before his retirement. Prior to working with BCGI, he had been an employee for Digital Equipment Corp for 25 years. Mr. Chaisson was a veteran of the United States Navy, having served from 1959 to 1969. He was honorably discharged with the rank of Master Chief Petty Officer after a distinguished career serving aboard several submarines including the USS Sterlet and was a plank owner of the newly commissioned USS Sam Houston. George is remembered for his love of woodworking and enjoyed making gifts for his family and friends. George was a talented home handyman and was always available to help others and to supervise projects in his neighborhood. George liked to hunt and fish as well as play golf. He was also proud of his time in the Boy Scouts of America. He was educated in Framingham and graduated from Framingham Technical High School. Following his graduation from high school he received an Executive MBA from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. Mr. Chaisson is survived by his son, Gene Timothy Chaisson and his daughter, Cheri Marie Chaisson; his partner in life, Diane Danault; his brothers and sisters-in-law, James and Betsy Chaisson, William and Gale Chaisson and John and Elaine Chaisson; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be held at the Davis Funeral Home, One Lock St., Nashua on Tuesday, October 24, 2017 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider a memorial donation to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, P.O. Box 849168, Boston, MA 02284-9168 (www.dana-farber.org). The Davis Funeral Home, One Lock Street, Nashua has been placed in charge of arrangements. HORN, David Edward,was born on 1 June 1944 in Morenci, Greenlee County, Arizona to Thomas Oyama and Dorietta Bratcher Horn, and departed from his family on 8 September 2017 at the VA Hospital in Tucson, Arizona. His parents predeceased him as well as two sisters, Dorietta Bernice, Brenda Belle and an infant brother, Thomas. Surviving him is his wife, Joyce A. Cooper-Sellars whom he married in 1984. Surviving him are two brothers, Robert Lee and Donald Claude Horn; several nieces, nephews and many close friends. He leaves his daughter, Mary Davette and six grandchildren, Alyssa Nakai, Kiley Justine, Mary Louise, Morgan Fay, Holly Noel and Adam Swade; also the children's father, Edward A. Lowry. We miss our Papa terribly. David went to Morenci schools and graduated with high honors on 1 June 1962, on his birthday. The following December, he was in the Navy. He did basic in San Diego and went to the East Coast for training. David was assigned to the USS Sam Houston submarine. Also, served on the USS Simon Lake for a brief time. David was medically discharged an Honorable after physical enlistment showed diabetes. His occupation was mostly an Electronics Technician, but did lots of different jobs and did them very well. He had a very deep mind and could remember things since 1st grade. A Memorial will be held at LDS, 2002 N. Greasewood Rd., Tucson, AZ 85745 on the 10th of November at 10:30 a.m. in the Relief Society room. Laid to rest in Eagle Creek, Morenci, where he and his siblings lived and grew up, on Saturday the 11th of November about 10:00 a.m. or 11:00 a.m. anyone from Morenci and area who knew David is welcomed to come to Eagle Creek. LOOMIS, Jon passed on October 15, 2017. He was born April 1, 1942 in Oak Park, IL. He was the son of Irma & Robert Loomis. In his early childhood the family moved to the Southern California area and Jon grew up in South Pasadena and graduated from South Pasadena High School. Jon tried a year at Dartmouth then joined and served in the Navy from 1960-1966 as an Electronics Technician and Nuclear Power Reactor Operator on nuclear submarines. After serving our country Jon missed the west coast weather, the beach and surfing and returned to Southern California. He graduated from USC with a Masters Degree and remained a true Trojans fan throughout his life. Jon was an excellent athlete and was an avid Rugby, Football, Baseball, and Wrestling player and Letterman in his high school and college years. Jon later moved to the South Bay where he spent most of his life. He had a successful career in the financial services industry working for some prominent firms. After retirement, Jon spent a few years in the real estate industry. Jon was a huge fan of all sports, always enjoyed sharing a good story or joke and loved spending time with his friends and family. Jon is survived by his wife of 22 years Sydney Loomis, and his son Rob Loomis, daughter Katie Ferris (husband Damian), from his first marriage to Dianne Loomis. He is also survived by his stepdaughter, Lisa, and 5 grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that a donation be made to a cancer foundation of your choice in Jon's name. MORRIS, Stanley D., of Tucson, Arizona passed away on October 10, 2017 of complications from a sky-diving accident. He was born August 11, 1957 in Helena, Montana to Richard and Kaye Morris. He was preceded in death by his father. He is survived by his wife Kimberly Stine, a step-son, Branden (wife Valerie), two grandsons, Collin and Reece, all of Tucson, two brothers Ken Morris of Cave Creek, Arizona, and Dean Morris (wife Tracy) of Tustin California, and numerous nieces and nephews. Stan received his BS degree in Finance from the University of Arizona in 1985 after four years in the United States Navy Submarine Division. While still at the university, working for Sebra, he obtained a US Patent for developing a new system for transferring blood safely. He retired after 20 years at Intuit as a project manager. Following retirement, he joined TEK Systems at TEP and spent many hours volunteering as a Crisis Victim Advocate with the Pima County Attorney's office working with violent crime victims. Stan had a competitive nature and loved all sports. He was an active cyclist, competing in the "Tour de Tucson" and other charity events. He played hockey most of his life, was an official for USA Hockey for 11 years, and most recently an off-ice official with AHL. Stan made his family a priority. He was an active councilor to his nieces, nephews and grandchildren. He was a true example of how to be a generous and caring Uncle and grandfather. A celebration of Stan's life is planned for 1pm Saturday, October 28th in Tucson, Arizona at the Adair Avalon Chapel, at 8090 N. ROBERTS, Everett A., Jr., 79, of Bartlett for 23 years died October 21, 2017. Everett was the beloved husband of Thalia (nee Pavis) for 53 years; loving father of Lisa (William) Lucas and Jeff (Holly) Roberts; proud grandfather of Emily, Alexander and Sophia Lucas, William, John and Andrew Roberts; cherished brother of William (Karen). He was a Navy veteran, having served in submarine service. A memorial gathering will take place at a later date. Cremation took place privately at Countryside Crematory. SEXTON, James William, was born on December 8, 1939 and passed away on Saturday, October 14, 2017. James was a resident of Illinois at the time of passing. He went into the US Navy in 1959, where he served with distinction and honor as an able seaman and was promoted to the rank of Chief Petty Officer servicing in the submarine fleet.
