GOWER, Roger E., 77, passed away on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 in Nashua, New Hampshire. He married the love of his life Julia K. Gower in 1996 and they shared 21 wonderful years of marriage. Born in Nashville, Tennessee he was the son of F. E. "Gene" Gower and Mary Gower. Roger attended and graduated from the University of Mississippi "Ole Miss". He served in the US Navy as Lieutenant Commander in the Nuclear Submarine Corp during the Vietnam era. He was a division CEO of Texas Instruments and ITT and CEO of Intellidex, Data Media Corp and MCT. After retiring, he enjoyed serving on the Board of Directors of several companies. He was a parishioner at the Church of the Good Shepherd in Nashua, NH. Roger loved spending time with family and friends, playing golf, traveling to exotic places around the world and pampering his beloved dogs. Roger had a great sense of humor, never met a stranger and always had an experience to share. Survived by his wife Julia, brother, Robert Gower, his children Scott Gower and Elaine Lennard, his grandchildren Keely, Chad, Ashley, TJ and great granddaughter Avery. The Viewing will be held Friday, October 27th from 4:00 to 7:00pm at Davis Funeral Home located at One Lock St., Nashua, NH 03064. The Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, October 28th at 10:00am at the Church of the Good Shepherd at 214 Main St., Nashua, NH 03064. Graveside services will be held separately at Williamson Memorial Gardens in Franklin, Tennessee on November 4th, 2017. Memorial donations in lieu of flowers may be made to the Church of the Good Shepherd or The Michael J. Fox Foundation at michaeljfox.org
