Moyer, Richard Moses, 92, of Bethlehem, PA died Saturday, November 18, 2017 in his apartment at Sterling Heights Retirement Community. Born in Allentown on October 30, 1925, he was the son of the late Moses S. and Christianna K. (Conrad) Moyer. He was predeceased by his wife of 68 years, Doris E. (Kincaid) Moyer. Richard attended William Allentown High School prior to serving in the U.S. Navy's Submarine Service during World War II [CSD-241, CSD-321, CSD-201, USS Haddo]. Before retiring he worked in the garment industry, most recently as a Manager and Costing Engineer. He was a member of Rosemont Lutheran Church where he served on church council, and was active in the Penn Jersey Scrollers in connection with his wood working hobby. He also held memberships in U.S. Submarine Veterans, Inc., the VFW and American Legion. Survivors: sons Richard R. and his wife Helen of Oaks, PA, Terry L. and his wife Patty of West Brooklyn, IL, Gary M. and his wife Joyce of Uxbridge, MA, two grandchildren, Jodi L. Leader and her husband Jeffrey of West Brooklyn, IL and Michael A. and his wife Kelli of Woodridge, IL, great grandson Cody L. Maltbey of W. Brooklyn, IL. Services: 11:00 AM, Wednesday, November 22, at Rosemont Lutheran Church, 1705 W. Broad St. Bethlehem, 18018. Calling will begin at 9:30 AM at the church. WIDAJEWSKI, John, 92, of Roseville. Died Nov. 14, 2017 at Beaumont Hospital in Troy. John was born Jan 5, 1925 in Rogers City to the late Stefan & Frances (Wasylk) Widajewski. He married Alice Azarovitz Jun 9, 1951 in Detroit, she died Jun 7,2012. He will be sadly missed by his children; Barbara (Dennis) Stricklen, Gary (Leesa) Widajewski, Linda Widajewski, grandchildren; Heather (Sam) Jackson, Brian (Jessica) Stricklen, great grandchildren; Carter Stricklen and Emma Jackson. John was a US Navy WWII submarine veteran. He qualified in submarines in USS Atule (SS-403) in 1944 and was SM3(SS) when released by the Navy in 1946 he also served in CSD-322, CSD-142, CSD-12, and USS Apogon. A Funeral Mass will be held 10AM instate 9:30 Monday, Nov 20, 2017 at Holy Innocents, 26100 Ridgemont, Roseville. Visitation will be Sunday 3-8PM. with a 7PM Rosary at Kaul Funeral Home, 27830 Gratiot, Roseville. Entombment to follow at Cadillac Memorial Gardens-East.
