CURRY, Frederick J., 67, of Lower Lake Rd., Seneca Falls, N.Y., passed away on Saturday November 25, 2017, at the Cleveland Clinic, Cleveland, Ohio. Family and friends may call at the Doran Funeral Home, 4 E. Bayard St., Seneca Falls, NY on Friday (December 1, 2017) from 4 to 7 p.m. followed by a funeral service at 7 p.m. at the funeral home with Reverend James Fennessy, officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in St. Columbkille Cemetery, Seneca Falls. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the charity of one's choice and please consider being an organ donor. The Seneca Falls Honor Guard will conduct Military Honors at the funeral home on Friday evening (December 1) at 6:45 p.m. Fred was born in Seneca Falls, N.Y. on October 17, 1950, the son of the late Harold "Pop" & Mary Gargan Curry. He was a life resident of Seneca Falls and had served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. He was proud of the fact that he was a plankowner on the submarine USS Hawkbill. He was retired from the former Seneca Army Depot, Romulus, N.Y., and he was a member of St. Patrick's Church, Seneca Falls. He is survived by two brothers Stephen Curry of Waterloo, N.Y and Martin (Carol) Curry of Central Square, N.Y.; three nieces/nephew Lori (Phil) Hemminger of Black River, N.Y., Stephen (Heather Bassett) Curry II of Middlesex, N.Y., Carrie (Rolando) Curry-Azogue of Central Square, N.Y., and Ceara Curry of Central Square, N.Y. The love of his life, his dog Holly. In addition to his parents, Fred was predeceased by his brother, Michael J. Curry; a niece, Maria Curry; and his sister-in-law, Katy Curry. MULCAHY, John, of Somerville, formerly of Cambridge, passed peacefully November 26, 2017. Beloved husband of 68 years to Florence (Lumley) of Cambridge. Loving father of John Mulcahy of Somerville, Francis Mulcahy and his wife Lynne of Sugar Land, TX, Daniel Mulcahy and his wife Maura of Medford, Michael Mulcahy and his husband Daniel Lucas of Arlington, and of the late Stephen Mulcahy, and Baby Mulcahy who passed away at birth. Grandfather of six; great grandfather of nine; brother of Irene Sawyer of Cambridge, Maryann Helmuth of Cambridge, and of the late Cornelius "Buddy" Mulcahy of Medford, Eddie Mulcahy of Manchester, NH, and Margaret Kilfoyle of Woburn. He was a WWII Navy Veteran of the submarine corps where he proudly served in the South Pacific Theater. WILCOX, Gerald Eugene, 92, was born on July 17, 1925 and passed away on Tuesday, November 21, 2017. Dr. Wilcox was a resident of Carmel, Indiana at the time of passing. Jerry served in the United States Navy during World War II (1943 to 1946) as an Electronic Technician, training first at Duke University before boarding the USS Sea Poacher submarine. A service of remembrance and celebration will be at noon on Saturday, December 2 at Flanner Buchanan Oaklawn Memorial Gardens (Good Shepherd Chapel), 9700 Allisonville Rd., Indianapolis IN 46250, with visitation one hour prior to the service. He received the Romanowski Award for his contributions to Indiana Food Processors.
