GARRISON, Richard A., Sr., 86, of Pensacola, FL, passed away on Dec. 20, 2017. Richard was a native of Valley Cottage, NY and had resided in Pensacola since Jan., 1972. He was a member of several professional and alumni organizations, Masonic fraternities (32nd Degree Mason, F&AM and A&ASR bodies) and several national and local organizations. He was proud to have served almost 40 years of combined military and civilian service with the Navy. Richard served with the Navy Submarines Service, as an Electronics Engineer with the Naval Material Command, and on the staff of the Chief of Naval Education and Training (CNET). Richard's loving wife of 60 years, Margaret Ellen (nee Pritchard) Garrison, a native of Westwood, MA, preceded him in death on Jan. 27, 2012. He is survived by his son, Richard Garrison, Jr. of Jupiter, FL; three daughters, Diane Marjorie (Michael) Garrison of Silver Spring, MD, Joyce Ellen (Joseph) (nee Garrison) Rieman of La Plata, MD, and Cynthia Jane (David) (nee Garrison) Oberst of Patuxent, MD; eight grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and numerous relatives and friends. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30AM, Wed., Dec. 27, 2017 at Faith Chapel Funeral Home South with Chaplain Ken Griffin and the Pensacola Scottish Rite officiating. RUDILOSSO, Carlo, 95, of Germantown, MD, bid his final adieu on Wednesday, December 20, 2017, surrounded by family. Born March 15, 1922, in Boston MA, he was the youngest son of Letterio and Filippa (Grungo) Rudilosso from Messina, Sicilia, Italy. Beloved and devoted husband of Kita and a dear father to Marcia and Sara. Grandfather to Sean, Carla, Mathena, Michael, Natalie, Melody, William, and Sofia. Favorite uncle of Paul and Judy Carlo proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during WWII on destroyers and submarines in the Pacific, ending his last assignment at the Pentagon after 20 years. He always enjoyed the goodness of people - especially those whom he loved with all his heart. Carlo is loved and remembered for his encouragement and support, "never give up, just keep trying". Friends may be received at Pumphrey's Colonial Funeral Home, 300 W. Montgomery Ave, Rockville, MD on Saturday, December 30, 2017 from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Interment will be at the Chattanooga National Cemetery.
