As much as I hate to admit that Ric might be right, he is in this case. The person is crazy. Why isn't the individual locked up, because death could have easily been the result of this stunt. Making it a potential attempted suicide. So why weren't they arrested and committed as any other suicidal individual would be? |

They are French, which doesn't automatically make them crazy, just line we have a bunch of bone-headed teenagers.
They were sponsored by Red Bull which sponsors all kinds of crazy stunts.
It was performed in either France or Switzerland. Their laws against suicide are different than ours.
The airplane has a wing strut to protect them from the propeller.
They could have aborted the stunt at any time they felt overly unsafe - as though wing-suit flying is the safest thing in the world.
They are professional stunt idiots. Do not try this at home. |
