At random: The first submarine which actually sank another enemy vessel under combat conditions was the CSS HUNLEY built during the Civil War. The Union frigate HOUSATONIC on blockade station off Charleston, S. C. was the victim. The incident occurred on February 17, 1864.

Once upon a time a work-seeking actor, Clint Eastwood, went off to Spain to film what became the trio of spaghetti western movies. Who could have foretold what would happen? Western fans around the world soon became ardent fans of both Eastwood, and Ennio Morricone, the Italian composer whose fantastic OST music matched the movies actions shot for shot. The baddies all looked like baddies should with their cross-eyes, bad teeth, warts and all. Clint as the laconic man with no name, Eli Wallach as the scheming Tuco, and Lee Van Cleef as the ruthless Angel Eyes - what a great combination. Here a brilliant performance of theme music from "Il Buono, il Cattivo, e il Brutto," (literal trans.) for "The Good, The Bad and The Ugly."
