At random: Nautilus has long been a popular name for a submarine. Some of the more famous of these are Robert Fulton's NAUTILUS (1800), Jules Verne's fictional Nautilus, and the NAUTILUS of Sir Hubert Wilkins in which he attempted a voyage to the North Pole under the ice (1931). There have also been three U.S. submarines of that name, including the world's first nuclear powered submarine built by the Electric Boat Division.

Is the message function disabled or am I just too dumb to send a private message. I've had a message in my out box for almost two months and can't see how to get it to send. Any help will be most appreciated.

Bill, on the right hand side of the message are three buttons one of which should be "Reply".
Hope this helps.

Hi Ric

Thanks for the reply. I do not have any buttons to the right of the message.

Ric, I am trying to send this message from my outbox. I wonder if I should use the PM Button at the bottom of the screen when one logs on to the site. Maybe by execution is off.

Ric: I just sent you a test message by hitting the PM button at the bottom of a post. It's still sitting in my outbox. Do you have to be logged in to have it sent, or will it sit in your inbox until you find it?

Bill:

The message will remain in your outbox until your recipient actually answers it. Then it will be placed in your sent box. Then, when they reply, up near the top of the page, in the "banner," there will appear a red number "1." It's below the stern planes on the boat image. To the right of that number, there is the word "inbox" underlined. Click on it. That will open your inbox and you will see the reply.

I'm sending you a test message.
