At random: "The Turkish skipper of ex-USS Tang, when asked about the difference between the German designed and built replacement boats for their retiring ex-US boats, is reported to have said, "American submarines are built for war, German submarines are built for export."

To all my submariner friends north of -- oh say -- South Carolina.

Bet y'all's glad that winter over. As for me, I'se dammmm glad I ain't living in southeastern Connecticut any more. 40 years was enough.

Be Well

Yep, spring is on the way.
Daffodils are in full bloom up in the Skaget Valley; https://www.tulips.com/bloommap
Tulips won't be far behind. Acres and acres and acers of them

That crap better be history by early in April. Bad enough my Florida Winter was mostly taken up with the Rotator cuff surgery and heart issues. The heart problem turned out to not be a problem. These Docs down here are uber cautious. Have 2 months of therapy when I get back. Getting old sucks but still better than the other option. Be safe.

Dodged a bullet with the latest nor'easter. No snow or wind.
