ELLISOR, George N, 59, passed away March 15, 2018 in Salt Lake City, Ut. He was born September 16, 1958 in Houston, Texas to father, Roy Lee Ellisor and mother Pearl Katherine Pierce. He was a scholar throughout high school in Shreveport, Louisiana. Working in the food service industry and loving to cook before serving his country for seven years as a submariner and ultimately training officers and replacements before leaving the Navy. He worked for EG&G for 20+ years, meeting the love of his life, Judy Lynn Henson Gladden while transitioning\transferring to Tooele, UT in 1996 to help in the destruction of our nation's chemicals weapons. He is survived by his daughter Leah Ford Ellisor; Step Children, Ronald R. Gladden wife Amanda, Rusty L. Gladden wife Casey, Charles W. Gladden wife Annisa, Tamara M. Beck husband Ken, Granddaughter and care taker Tristan Beck and a total of 18 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his wife of 16 years, Judy, Father Roy, Mother Pearl, and his beloved dog Max and his favorite cat Minnie. George had a gentle soul. He loved traveling, coin collecting, building and fixing computers and music, Fleetwood Mac lost their #1 fan. He worked in many professions always helping others and would fix any computer, spending hours on the computer writing his own programs to help him simplifying his life. He loved NASCAR and camping with his friend of 20+ years Terry Gray and his family. Terry's kids thought of him as the best uncle they have ever known. He was a loving person, father and friend and will be missed by many. We would like to give a special thanks to the Veterans Admin, V.A. for their help during the past years. KEENAN, Robert A., CDR, USN, Ret., 68 of Knoxville, TN passed away peacefully on March 18, 2018, in Waterford, CT. He was born on August 6, 1949 in Kansas City, MO. He spent much of his childhood in Jackson, MS. Around the age of fifteen, he met the love of his life, Brenda of Winona MS, and married her in 1969. He served thirty years in the Navy's nuclear submarine service. He retired after thirty years and moved to Knoxville in 1998 where he worked as a project manager for Energy Solutions until he retired in 2011. He and his wife then enjoyed traveling in their RV, spending time with family and enjoying new adventures. He continued his interest in the latest technology and gadgets. He is survived by his wife Brenda of forty-eight years, four children and their spouses Robert C. & Christie, Nikki & Jason Cioci, Steven & Kelly, Jeff & Rhonda and ten grandchildren. He also leaves behind seven siblings & their spouses, Elizabeth & Tom, Mary & Jeff, Deborah, Brian, Janine & John, Deborah Jean, and Jack. He was preceded in death by his mother and stepfather Charlene and A. L. Keenan, his father Robert Landes and his granddaughter Katelyn Grace Keenan. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his memory to the ALS Association Tennessee Chapter, PO Box 40244, Nashville, TN 37204 to help others fighting this dreadful disease. NEVAREZ, George Paul, 67, passed away peacefully at his home in Orange, Texas, on February 16, 2018. He was born in Las Cruces, NM on February 22, 1950, to Nestor T. Nevarez and Lydia S. (Fitch) Nevarez. George Graduated from Mayfield High School in 1968 and went on to serve in the U.S. Navy on the nuclear submarine USS Queenfish. He later graduated with honors from McNeese State University in Lake Charles, LA. He worked as an electrical engineer at Total, Huntsman, and Dupont-Sabin river Works for a number of years. George is survived by his loving wife of seventeen years, Pat Nevarez, son Paul Nevarez (Crystal, sisters Priscilla Hernandez (Joe), Olivia Nevarez Garcia (Jose), Rachel Hecker (Pete), and his Brother Robert (Bo) Nevarez (Antoinette). He leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He will be dearly missed by those who came to know and love him. He was Preceded in death by his parents, brothers Johnny Nestor Nevarez and Manuel Eugene Nevarez. PAWLOWICZ, Charles William, passed away peacefully on March 14, 2018 at home with his family by his side. Born in Cleveland, OH on December 5, 1939 to the late Chester and Adella Schultz, Charles graduated from Bedford High School in Bedford, OH, and then attended Case Technical College. In the late 1950's, he enlisted in the United States Navy and was stationed in Norfolk, VA and then New London, CT. He served with honor on the USS Shark and USS Triton. USS Triton was the first nuclear submarine to circumnavigate the globe, and Charles was photographed in The National Geographic while crossing the equator. After the Navy, he pursued his education and earned his MS in Physics at the University of Connecticut. After serving as a research assistant with UCONN, he continued his education at the University of Hartford earning his BS and MBA. For many years, he was employed by the Technical Training Department at Pratt & Whitney Aircraft in East Hartford, CT where he met his beloved wife, Carlene. Charles and family moved to Columbus, GA in 1982 where he trained employees for the new Pratt & Whitney Aircraft plant yet to be opened. While at Pratt & Whitney Aircraft, Charles continued his love for education and taught Physics and Mathematics at Columbus Technical Institute. He continued teaching and immensely enjoyed his many students at Columbus Tech until his traumatic brain injury 22 years ago. Charles had a love for history and travel. He was an Egyptian history buff, and the highlights of travel for he and Carlene were trips to Egypt, Austria, Germany, Switzerland, England, Netherlands, Poland, and Rome, where his hands touched the now Saint John Paul II. Charles was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Adele Sanders, and his sister-in-law, Patricia Haertel. He leaves behind his loving wife of 36 years, Carlene, and his loving children Denise Woodham (Grady) and Jason Pontes (Heather); along with his adored grandchildren, Hawkins, Jude, and Sophia; and his brother-in-law William Haertel. Also, many cousins, nieces and nephews, and his Aunt Marion Kray and his St. Thomas family where he once taught Education for Ministry. The family invites friends to celebrate Charles' life at a Memorial service in the Chapel of St. Thomas Episcopal Church on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at 3:30 P.M. with the Reverend Grace Burton-Edwards officiating.
