It was 2 years ago in the early hours of the morning of April 21st I went to the Emergency room with a bleeding ulcer. I had lost so much blood every time I stood up I would try to pass out. I ended crawling on my hands and knees through the house out to the car so Patti could drive me to the hospital.

Once there this resulted in having the ulcer cauterized solving that problem but I also experienced two heart attacks fairly close together. No place better to do that than in a hospital bed with eight or ten medical people standing around you. The result of this was a three week stay in the hospital and bypass surgery.

I guess I kind of consider this my second birthday. It started a whole new life that could have ended that day.

Now let me get this straight. Lumpy Bumps shows up and you develop a bleeding ulcer and have two heart attacks. Coincidence?

Live long and prosper.

No, Ms Bumps had nothing to do with it. She was a big help.
A 35 year old back injury and 30 plus years of Ibuprofen and Excedrin to manage the pain was the cause. It finally caught up with me. Now I can only take Tylenol which does absolutely nothing for me to help my back pain.
I did have Oxycodone for the pain of having my chest and breast bone split open for the five hour surgery. Pretty miserable time until things began to heal. Don't ever want to do that again if I can.

Congrats on out living your expiration date!!!
I'm pretty grateful being here.
I've always known life was terminal since an early age. (both parents dead by the time I was 11)
My brother turns 81 this year. Glad to be following in his footsteps.

81!   That's a good sign.  My Dad and brother both died at 75 so I'm "turning the volume up" a bit
