At random: "The Turkish skipper of ex-USS Tang, when asked about the difference between the German designed and built replacement boats for their retiring ex-US boats, is reported to have said, "American submarines are built for war, German submarines are built for export."

Subject: Update #18

Been going through and rescanning images from the past. When I first started the page band width and modem speeds were pretty bad. I made photos at smaller sizes. Now with 14,400 baud a thing of the past I've been finding and remaking the images at higher resolution and bigger sizes.

Here are two photos from my very first scrapbook bought online. The original photos are 1 1/4 inches X 2 1/2 inches in size. The new scans are much better at seeing detail.

Enjoy!
