COYLE, James C., was born on February 5, 1943 and passed away on Thursday, November 7, 2019. James was a resident of Washington, Pennsylvania at the time of passing. A veteran of the Navy, Mr. Coyle, served aboard the submarine USS Cobbler (SS-344) as a Yeoman, third class. Memorial contributions may be made to Parkinson's Foundation, 575 Lincoln Avenue, #101, Bellevue, PA 15202.


DUNBAR, Leland Leroy, age 101, was born on October 22, 1918 and passed away on Friday, November 8, 2019. Leland was a resident of Sand Creek, Michigan at the time of passing. He proudly served his country in the US Navy Submarine Service. He qualified in submarines in USS Permit (SS-178) in 1945 and was RM3(SS) when released by the Navy. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 13, 2019, from 3-7 p.m. at the Anderson-Marry Funeral Home, Adrian. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, November 14, 2019, at 11:00 a.m. at the Anderson-Marry Funeral Home, Adrian with Rev. Bruce Jewett officiating. Burial will be in Fairfield Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Lenawee.


HUBBS, Edward, was born on July 18, 1949 and passed away on Wednesday, November 6, 2019. Edward was a resident of Walkersville, West Virginia at the time of passing. Edward was a 1967 graduate of Holy Cross High School in Delran, NJ, and went on to attend Rutgers University and Burlington Community College. He was a sailor in the Submarine Service Division of the US Navy Reserves. Family will receive friends at St. Patrick Catholic Church located at 210 Center Ave. in Weston from 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 12, 2019. Funeral Mass will follow at 1:00 p.m. with Reverend Cody Ford officiating. Interment will follow at Hubbs Family Cemetery in Roanoke. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Edward's favorite charity, St. Jude's Children's Hospital.


JUSTICE, William Henry, age 92, passed away peacefully in his sleep Oct 23, 2019. Bill was born Nov 20, 1926 in Fort Smith, AR to Eddy Ray Justice and Oney Pearl Justice. He was predeceased by his wife, Velma Justice, and daughter, Sheila Justice. He is survived by his sons, Eddy Justice (Woodland) and David Justice (Cottonwood); six grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren. He will be remembered with a graveside memorial at Monument Hill in Woodland, Nov. 23, at 11 a.m. A reception will follow at the American Legion Yolo Post 77 in Woodland. A long time masonry contractor in Woodland, Bill was an avid outdoors man and hunted dove many places in the US, Canada, Mexico and Africa. He was also a pilot and enjoyed flying his Stinson airplane. He enjoyed many things but playing cards with his "pals" down at the legion and his daily highballs were some of his favorites. He was a veteran of the US Navy and served aboard the submarine USS Tang (SS-563) during his service. His larger than life personality will surely be missed!
