At random: The USS Blenny SS 324, on her last patrol of WW II sank 63 vessels. One by torpedo and 62 by deck gunfire, demolition charges set by boarding parties or by burning. On several occasions shotguns were fired through the boats bottoms. These were all vessels under the 500 ton JANAC limit for tonnage sunk and not counted in the "official" totals or ships sunk. This is also a record for the most vessels ever sunk by a submarine on one patrol.

Seattle and Bremerton Bases participated in the 54th Annual Veterans Day Parade in Auburn, Wash.
The day started off cold and drizzly but that finally stopped by the time the parade began.
The color guard for the sub vets were a current submarine qualified woman, Chief Petty Officer Davis, from an active duty submarine and Seattle Bases' own 94 year old WWII veteran Ralph Sterley.
In the second photo 95 year old WW II Paul Christopherson (with the walker) walked the whole parade. Men made from sturdy stuff! If you look closely in some of the other photos you can see Paul marching down the street!
