I still have some of their LP albums; but, no turntable.
They have an advantage over other senior citizen groups - they do not have to sing.
I wonder how she looks today?

Ric,
Hard to believe that when we were leaving school and having our last dance that the bands that kept us dancing that night away would ever aspire to world fame. This was the time of the instrumentalists like this one of the Ventures, Duane Eddy and “Rebel Rouser”, The Shadows with “Apache” and “Tequila” from the Champs. My last class dance at Green Lane Grammar School in Liverpool was played to by a nothing group called “The Quarrymen” who went onto to being none other than The Beatles. It was nice to have danced in the footsteps of the mighty with your then sweetheart for just a little while.

To be honest, the Ventures were just about done doing the local High School scene as they were just making it big while I was in school. The Pacific NW did give birth to some great groups. http://pnwbands.com/nwtributes50.html
Not sure how many became notable outside of Western Washington area. Some did I know.

One of the tools available online to convert and download music from video is https://www.flvto.biz/en3/ No turntable required.

I've used and downloaded mp3's from there for years with it being slow on occasion the only drawback. As with any site, don't click on Ads etc. Or, the Internet Archive site I posted about earlier allows everyone to download it's content
