Please excuse me if these selections are repeats but it isn’t always easy to keep track of them all.

Funny how songs Neil Diamond sang were not always welcomed by those with their name in the title. My sister, Rosemary, loved his song “Crackling Rosie” until she found out that Crackling Rosie was a bottle of cheap sparkling wine used by hoboes in the US and Canada. My wife has a younger carer whose name is Caroline as her parents were Diamond fans and named her accordingly. As a result, she told me she always hated the name and prefers to be called Cazz by her friends, family and colleagues. Can’t think why such a beautiful woman with a lovely name would want to do that, but there you have it. After being diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease Neil sadly did his last concert performances in 2017.

2012/1993.  Saw the performance late in 1993 at the Forum in LA.  Songs written well back, popular with the older and younger.
