I’ll keep my work here going, trying to get others who were not USSVI members. You’re encouraged to look there as well as here! Obviously, there’ll be some I miss and some I duplicate. 

KING .. .. .. William E. King, 92, of Newington, beloved husband of 71 years to the late Rose King, passed away unexpectedly on July 2, 2026. He was born in Hartford on June 24, 1934 to the late Elmer and Edith (Tulloch) King.
Bill was a Navy Veteran serving on a submarine during the Korean War. He worked in the HVAC field, owning his own business, General Mechanical.
Bill lived life at full speed and with high energy. He enjoyed motorcycling, bicycling, sailing, skiing, skating and scuba diving. He found great joy in participating in these and other outdoor activities with his children and grandchildren. His energy and enthusiasm was admired by many. He will be deeply missed.
He is survived by his daughter Sharon Genzlinger and her husband Glenn of Hebron; his son Scott King and wife Lynda of Newington; his beloved grandchildren Mark Genzlinger and wife Jessica of Glastonbury and Kelly Watrous and husband Eric of Marlborough; his adored great-grandchildren Leah and Kaylee Genzlinger and Natalie and Walter Watrous; and his brother Stephen and wife Mary. He was predeceased by his brother Robert.
